The dog is elevated about 9 inches from the car seat with the booster. The booster is about 20 inches long, 16 inches wide, and 14 inches high. The boosters fit both front and rear seats. The patent-pending LATCH system (required on almost all 2003 and newer vehicles) secures the seat for a safe installation. The booster is compatible with car restraining systems.
